Nicklaus Children’s Hospital

The scope of work for this $107 million project consisted of 419,000 square feet of interior renovations and expansions, which included laboratory renovations, a new MRI center, a new helipad, and elevator towers, and a renovation and expansion of the emergency department, hybrid operating room and a cardiac catheterization lab.  Other contract features encompassed improvements to the ambulatory care building, hybrid operating room, ortho/dental clinic, offices, endoscopy center, 3T MRI replacement, central energy plant, parking garage, and construction of a loop road. Upgrades to meet ADA requirements were also part of the project’s comprehensive scope.
