Aguascalientes I Solar Plant
In a turnkey contract valued at $11 million, OHLA Group provided design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services for the Aguascalientes solar plant in Mexico. The plant, which has been in operation since 2020, has a peak grid power of 37 MW. The generation of 76 GWh/year allows electricity to be supplied to around 25,000 homes, while in turn avoiding CO2 emissions of approximately 54,000 tons/year. CFE is the public services company that distributes the energy generated from the plant.
The plant’s equipment includes an Axis Tracker (Axial) system, Power Electronics 2.5 MVA – 1500 V inverters, and a Jinko 380 Wp. 109,380 monocrystalline photovoltaic modules.
