Zafra Solar Plant
In a contract valued at over $10 million, OHLA provided design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services for the Zafra Solar Plant in Seville, Spain. The project has a peak grid power of 50 MW. The generation of 101 GWh/year is able to supply electricity to approximately 34,000 homes, while in turn avoiding CO2 emissions. Enel/Endesa is the public service company that distributes the energy generated from the plant.
The plant, which has been in operation since 2019, features an Axis Tracker (PVH) system, Gamesa 2.5 MVA – 1500 V inverters, and a Risen 380 Wp photovoltaic module.
