East Ridge Retirement Village

OHLA Building, Inc., an OHLA USA subsidiary, oversaw all construction activities to build this $37 million three-story assisted living facility with 90 apartment-type units; a three-story building containing a skilled nursing unit with 60 rooms, accommodating 70 beds; and a memory care unit with 30 rooms with 35 beds. A one-story common building joined these structures to provide the essential dining, living, recreational, and therapeutic services along with administrative, kitchen, and laundry services. The site improvements included a new porte-cochere entry for each phase, parking for cars and golf carts, new roadways, landscaped grounds, and outdoor walking and seating areas to accommodate the resident. The design theme of the project was a contemporary Key West look.
