Elgin O’Hare Western Access Retaining Wall Construction
Continuing its work for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Judlau Contracting, an OHLA USA subsidiary, is performing activities to build a 2,227 linear foot pile-supported, cast-in-place retaining wall on the Elgin O’Hare Western Access along the southern limits of O’Hare Airport.
This $37 million project features over 101,000 linear feet of steel H-piles and 15,575 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete. Additional activities for this contract include earthwork widening for railroad track construction, drainage improvements, erosion control, and fencing.
