Miami Dade College Eduardo Padron Campus Building 6 Remodeling & Renovation

This renovation project for Miami Dade College (MDC) EduardoPadron Campus Building 6 provides academic and support space on the ground, mezzanine, and floors 3 through 6 and a new façade for the four parking garage floors.  The 4 floors of parking space total 253,363 SF.

The ground floor contains 36,025 SF which now houses a new library, computer courtyard, student life, bookstore, retail space, and a green courtyard. The 33,913 SF mezzanine includes the School of Education classrooms and offices, Honors College classrooms and offices, and a multi-purpose room.  Floors 7 through 9 contain over 40,000 SF of classrooms and student study lounges.   In addition, related infrastructure and building systems work included MEP systems, accessibility, utilities, telecommunications, restroom expansion, and lighting.  2018 AIA Florida/CaribbeanMerit Award of Excellence for Renovations & Additions.
