Rehabilitation of the Approach Viaducts at the Throgs Neck Bridge
Our subsidiary, Judlau Contracting, Inc., is executing this critical $162 million contract that replaces and repairs multiple deteriorated structural elements on the approach viaducts on both sides of the Throgs Neck Bridge in Bronx and Queens. The scope of work also includes resurfacing the roadway and repairing sidewalks and median.
The project team is performing demolition and replacement of all necessary superstructure steel repairs, catwalk upgrades, drainage rehabilitation, substructure and superstructure concrete repairs, seismic retrofit/bearing replacement, Asphalt removal, and replacement with waterproofing, as well as the restoration of the lower garage located beneath the Bronx Approach.
