State Road 80 (U.S. 98/U.S. 441)

Our subsidiary, Community Asphalt, performed this $34 million contract to improve traffic flow, safety, and travel reliability on seven miles of State Road 80, a major arterial roadway in Palm Beach County, Florida. The project primarily consisted of widening the roadway from two to three lanes in each direction and milling and new asphalt overlay of existing lanes. Community Asphalt was also responsible for constructing a 12-foot-wide, shared-use path along the corridor, a new pedestrian bridge, and drainage systems, in addition to placing a new concrete curb and gutter.
