Laurence Korgood

Laurence serves as Executive Vice President of OHLA USA’s Northeast Region, which is active through its heavy civil construction entity, Judlau Contracting. In this role, he oversees all operations and development in the northeast, a key market for the company. Laurence has nearly 30 years of experience in heavy construction and a background in project scheduling, management, and estimating. He served as Project Executive on numerous transit projects and was Project Director on the $504 million Canarsie Tunnel Rehabilitation and Core Capacity Improvements project. He led the effort to complete the tunnel work milestone three months ahead of schedule.  

Laurence joined Judlau Contracting, Inc. in 1998 as a Senior Project Manager. He was promoted in 2002 to Project Executive. Laurence was named Vice President of Estimating in 2013 and set annual departmental budgets, supported the estimating team, coordinated resources, and reviewed potential projects to pursue. While serving as VP of Estimating for Judlau, Laurence also held the position of Vice President of Procurement and Yard Services for OHLA USA, Inc. from 2014 to 2017. In late 2019, he helped launch and now serves as President of OHLA Systems & Electric, LLC.

Laurence holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New England College in New Hampshire.
