Pedro Anguita is responsible for overseeing and managing all processes and policies related to the firm’s equipment fleet in each of OHLA USA’s five regions across the United States. He provides leadership to OHLA’s yard managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels and proper safety and optimization guidelines are followed for equipment and vehicle fleets. He is held accountable for analyzing equipment utilization and maintenance costs. Also, in this capacity, Pedro participates in the approval process for new equipment and vehicles and also monitors fuel ordering and consumption to facilitate competitive pricing measures.
Pedro joined OHLA USA in 2013 as Purchasing Manager, during which time he instituted a more efficient process for purchasing procedures. Before his appointment to Vice President, Pedro served as a Fleet Manager at OHLA USA’s Community Asphalt division in Miami, Florida. Before joining the firm, Pedro held various management positions at companies in Ontario, Canada.
Pedro holds a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering from Havana Polytechnic University in Cuba and several certifications in supply chain management and business studies.
